Noma 2.0

When Noma relaunched its restaurant in 2018, they wanted to create an aesthetically beautiful and tranquil space in their staff canteen where the fifty chefs working at this reputable restaurant could recover. The four refectory tables with accompanying benches and footstools which Design Studies supplied to Noma comes from the first furniture in the Dinesen Collection. This was the first time the furniture series had been put to tough daily use and Noma returned the favour, so to speak, by subjecting the collection to a real acid test. This made it quite clear that both materials and design were conducive to a long service life.
